my name is kay and i'm the webmistress of corsetlacedheart ♡ i'm 27 years old and live in the united kingdom but in the process of moving to germany rn!
i first became interested in the indie web / neocities in 2019 (who remembers dissolvedgirl...well...that's how i found out this side of the internet exists!) and since then have started various sites that never really reached past the beginning stages because i either procrastinated or had other things going on in life at the time... but i've put a lot of effort and love into this one so it's gonna stay up! i can't believe it's been 7 years since then...*feels old*
my main interest is fashion - i love putting outfits together and styling more than anything and i love the process of dressing up and transforming (my own lil mahou shoujo transformation ritual), growing up i was the most insecure teen ever and never really had the money or freedom to experiment with fashion, so i think i'm making up for it in my 20's/30's/even beyond! if i'm able to get up and dress like this when i'm 80 i still will!! corsetlaced oba-chan
some of my other interests include browsing old websites on webarchive, watching anime with my bf, reading visual novels, exploring dream worlds on ynoproject, and soon i'm gonna be learning how to play MTG since my bf is really getting me into it! i don't really like travelling at all (planes are scary ;_;) but i like exploring cities like berlin and finding cool places to thrift and shop~ i'm also actively learning german a lot of the time, the best way i've found is to read manga (and soon wanna try VN's) in the language and it helps me so much, atp i can understand like 80% of written german... speaking/listening on the other hand...
